lovelysuggestions:

its easy to beat yourself up because you’re too anxious, too overwhelmed, or too lost to do something others seemingly do with ease. but please, remember to put everything in perspective; you never know where this person was a year ago. for all you know, they may have been feeling exactly what you feel right now. know that you can continue to work towards overcoming the challenges in your life. maybe in a year from now, someone else may be looking at you for inspiration to keep pushing on themselves.

learning to let go and learning to relax means just freaking sticking those stickers on something. stop worrying if it’s the right place. burn that nice candle you’ve had for a year. it doesn’t need a special occasion. I’m gonna use those fancy soaps I’ve been collecting in a drawer even though they look so pretty and it means I’ll use them up. everything is temporary so just enjoy the littlest pleasures you can possibly have we all need to just let go and enjoy things while they last. the sticker’s gonna look fine on your water bottle I promise

cwote:

It’s not stupid. I promise. It’s not stupid to turn into your 5 year old self and get happy beyond measure for the little things. It’s not stupid to be proud of yourself for completing a load of laundry and washing the dishes. You aren’t lame for patting yourself on the back when you chose a salad over a burger. You’re taking care of yourself and each victory – no matter how small – is worth celebrating.

wholesome-suggestion:

today is so small in comparison to the rest of our lives. the meaningless troubles that haunt you now mean absolutely nothing in light of the bright, long future ahead of you. these problems may seem endless, they may seem as if they have no visible solution. but trust me, there is a solution and it will come to you in the future. whatever is a burden on your chest, it will be lifted in time. choose to consider the bright life ahead of you instead of the struggles that keep you chained to the past. there is so much you are going to do, so much you are going to experience. breathe and feel free because everything heals with time.
