I’m slowly moving toward my goals on patreon. When I reach 300$ a month, I’ll start posting longer comics on Saturdays. If I reach 700$ a month, I can keep posting daily for the foreseeable future *and* expand the project. I could add all kinds of cool new positive doodles tie-ins like positive astrology, positive photography, and longer series that focus on specific topics like studying, writing, healing, etc. If these are things that interest you, you can pledge for just 1$ here.
on days where you’re in pain and seemingly haunted by shadows and overcast thoughts, be gentle and overtly kind to yourself. remember moments where you’ve felt unbridled bliss, with cotton candy and honey coursing through your veins as dripping golden skies illuminated your wondrous, bright life. one day, you’ll embrace that warmth and pure joy time and time again. take small steps, be patient and embrace your kaleidoscope of emotions, tending to them whether they are brimming with dark hues or coated in light. take care, balance and bloom.
This got really pure and I’m so so proud of you op
I’m proud too. It’ll get better one day. Just keep holding on
That bit at the end really got to me because I’m experiencing the same struggles with depression and inability to do the things I love (writing & drawing). It may look bleek now but I know there’s help and hope for me and all the others who are suffering from this.
It’s not stupid. I promise. It’s not stupid to turn into your 5 year old self and get happy beyond measure for the little things. It’s not stupid to be proud of yourself for completing a load of laundry and washing the dishes. You aren’t lame for patting yourself on the back when you chose a salad over a burger. You’re taking care of yourself and each victory – no matter how small – is worth celebrating.
