isn’t it disrespecting the actors to distract from their curtain call with a sign for a fascist (or any political sign)? isn’t the trump guy disrespecting the audience by drawing attention to himself when it’s supposed to be about celebrating the actors?

A Broadway show is not a fucking concert. You don’t get to bring posters or banners, just your respect for the show, performers, and crew. The actor had every right to grab it and shut that shit down.

I agree whole-heartedly. If you go to a Broadway show you better show some manners. Not to mention this is a children’s show. “YOU DO NOT DISRESPECT THE AUDIENCE.” Sounds a lot like “The customer is always right,” When everyone knows the customer is usually wrong. Your presence in a theater production is a privilege, not a right. Don’t forget that.
